24x7x365 uninterrupted recording is a challenge for non-VDMR™ optimized servers and storage, often due to the unusually heavy recording video surveillance workload. With 98% or more writes to disk for video recording, and only 2% or less playback (reads from disk), optimization is critical for successful video surveillance deployments.
Simplified Local & Remote Video Management
Intransa EnterpriseServer™ Data Center Servers are designed to be fully compatible with the needs of local edge server deployments, ideal for use with IntransaOptimized™ server platforms. They can be used to consolidate and manage video from multiple remote edge servers, as well as feeds from local IP cameras. Regardless of the source, they optimize the resulting data for recording onto standard IT enterprise infrastructure, including HP SAN and NAS storage platforms.

Intransa EnterprizeServer™ Data Center Servers further simplify the challenges of physical security deployments with preloaded USB media kits. Each media kit contains the customer's choice of a certified, pre-tested Video Management System or other physical security application. That smart thinking eliminates the need to access the Internet to download installation software at a remote location from the application vendor, or to load cumbersome CDs and DVDs onsite. Dozens ofcertified and pre-tested application choices are available on these advanced media kits, and only from Intransa. Intransa EnterpriseServer™ Edge Servers also support preloaded USB media kits.
